President Obama has signed legislation that will place more federal restrictions on tobacco. The bill gives the Food and Drug Administration authority over tobacco products and they way they're marketed, especially to teens.
"I was one of these teenagers," Obama said, "and so I know how difficult it can be to break this habit when it's been with you for a long time."
To talk more about this bill, and the battle many people -- including the President -- face against tobacco, Dr. Jon Hallberg, our regular medical analyst stopped by All Things Considered.
Hallberg is a physician in family medicine at the University of Minnesota.
