Organizers are hoping to stage the world's largest bike parade Saturday in St. Cloud.
People of all ages and abilities are invited to join the parade. It will be held in St. Cloud's Whitney Park starting at 5:15 p.m., before the start of the Granite City Days parade and following the same route.
Each parade biker who completes the two-mile route with a bike will count toward the record.
Tandem bikers and bikers accompanied by a small child in a bike seat are welcome but will count as one bike.
A limited supply of bikes will be available. Helmets are required and can be purchased at the event.
The bike parade is sponsored by BLEND, an organization aimed at reducing childhood obesity in central Minnesota.
