Peace activist Kathy Kelly visits Minneapolis Thursday to talk about the military situation in Pakistan.
Kelly visited Pakistan recently and will speak on the effect of the war in Afghanistan on Pakistan.
The Chicago-based teacher has focused on Iraq for years, visiting multiple times since 1996 and living in Baghdad when the Iraq war began. She has also spent time with Iraqi refugees in Jordan.
Kelly speaks at St. Joan of Arc Church in Minneapolis at an event sponsored by Twin Cities anti-war groups.
