Police say an argument at a birthday party preceded the fatal shooting of three brothers and wounding of a fourth man in Menomonie.
Police Chief Wayne Stolpa says it appears the gunman targeted at least two of the victims during the argument about 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the Evergreen Isle Mobile Park.
Thirty-two-year-old Toua Kong, 25-year-old Siong Kong, and 13-year-old Seng Kong were fatally shot. A fourth person, 25-year-old Toua Xiong, was wounded. Police say 23-year-old Geu Tou Vang of St. Paul, Minn., then shot and critically wounded himself.
Stolpa said Siong and Toua Kong apparently were targeted by the gunman, while Seng Kong and Xiong likely were struck because they were near the older Kong brothers.
