Molly Balcom is direct mail manager for MPR and a food performance artist. Molly's excited about an event where food and performance definitely intersect -- Mixed Precipitation's production "Orpheus and Euridice, A Picnic Operetta.
It's being performed at community gardens around the Twin Cities. The next performance is Saturday, August 29, at Birchwood Community Garden in St. Louis Park. The company describes its production as "a celebration of the sustainable food system with locally sourced food creations and a multi-lingual journey to the underworld."
