The Minnesota State Fair opens tomorrow, and with it comes generations of tradition. For some, the annual gathering is all about food. Others enjoy the rides, or the animal barns.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Morning Edition arts commentator, St. Paul Pioneer Press theater critic, and lifelong fair fan Dominic Papatola about both the familiar and the little-known arts opportunities at the Great Minnesota Get Together.
