Mpls government phone system down for maintenance Sunday

The phone system for Minneapolis City government will close for maintenance from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Sunday.

During this time, most city government phone numbers will not work. 911 service is not affected by this outage, and will function normally.

For urgent Public Works issues on Sunday morning, the public is asked to call these alternate phone numbers:

(612) 282-5730 - Impound Lot (impounded vehicle, stolen vehicle)

(612) 619-6082 - Street Issue (debris, spill, power line)

(612) 619-6082 - Sewer Issue (sewer backups/flooding)

(612) 619-6082 - Traffic Issue (signals, lighting, signs)

(612) 619-6082 - Water (hydrant, water main, flooding)
