Commuters to the University of Minnesota's Twin Cities campus will have two new options starting next week.
Metro Transit will run Route 252 on Interstate 35 between the campus and the 95th Avenue park and ride in Blaine. It will offer three morning and three afternoon rush-hour trips.
Route 789 will be operated on Interstate 94 by Maple Grove Transit. There will be two morning and two afternoon trips between the campus and the Maple Grove Transit Station.
Travel time for both trips is estimated at about 30 minutes. The cash fare for each route is $3, but discounts are available for those who buy passes in advance.
