One man has been charged with murder and another with assault in a baseball bat attack at a western Minnesota church that left a 14-month-old girl dead.
Bail was set at $750,000 on Tuesday for David Collins, who was charged with two counts of second-degree murder, two counts of attempted second-degree murder and one count of second-degree assault.
Prosecutors also charged Darryl Kennedy with one count of second-degree assault. His bail was set at $100,000.
Authorities say Collins tried to attack Claude Hankins inside Thy Kingdom Come Church in Wheaton, but the bat hit Hankins' daughter, Aundrea, instead. Kennedy allegedly loaned Collins the bat.
The complaint says Collins and Hankins had argued over $20 that Collins owed to Hankins, and over how a washer and dryer in Collins' home would be transferred to Hankins.
