Minnesota's largest school district voted to close six schools last night. The Anoka Hennepin School board hasn't had to shutter buildings since the 50s, but the district faces a budget squeeze thanks to declining enrollment.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with State demographer Tom Gillaspy about why the number of school-age children is declining in Minnesota.
