Minneapolis police officers have arrested two men in connection with Monday's fatal shooting in northeast Minneapolis.
The shooting occurred at about 4 p.m. on Monday in the 2500 block of Marshall St. NE. The victim, Gerald Dwayne Brookins, 42, was transferred to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he died a short time later.
The killing brought the city's homicide count to 15 for the year.
The Hennepin County Attorney's Office has not yet filed charges against the two suspects.
