Northwest Airlines' old headquarters building is on the market.
The 266,000 square foot building in Eagan is being marketed along with a separate adjacent site near Highway 494.
Northwest has been the sole occupant of the site since it built the four-story office building in 1985.
Delta Air Lines bought Northwest about a year ago, but has pledged to maintain a substantial workforce in the Twin Cities.
Delta spokesman Kent Landers said the airline plans to move employees to other facilities.
"We are in the process of completely renovating a facility on 34th Avenue which will be the new corporate offices for Delta in Minneapolis and home for Delta connection headquarters, our Compass Airlines subsidiary and any other corporate functions that are based in Minneapolis," Landers said.
Delta Air Lines has committed to maintaining 10,000 Minnesota jobs and 400 daily departures from its Minneapolis-St. Paul hub until at least 2016.
