Leaders in Minnesota agriculture and agribusiness will make sustainability the focus of an annual meeting on Tuesday in Minneapolis.
Speakers at the Minnesota Agri-Growth Council meeting will talk about sustainable practices and corporate social responsibility, as well as trends in sustainable agriculture and food production.
The keynote speaker is Gene Kahn, vice president for sustainable development at General Mills. Kahn will also participate in a panel discussion with other experts, including a USDA official, on whether current trends in sustainability present concerns or opportunities for the food and agriculture industry.
The meeting is being held at the Minneapolis Convention Center.
