Two people have been arrested as St. Paul police continue to investigate a fight and two shootings they believe are related.
Police said Wednesday that a 25-year-old man was arrested in the death of Dwight Raymond Tate, who died of gunshot wounds after the first shooting occurred at an apartment complex at 1619 E. Maryland Ave. on Monday night.
In addition, a 19-year-old woman was arrested for allegedly causing the fight and participating in it. The fight ended with shots being fired.
Police said they plan to forward evidence in the case to the Ramsey County Attorney's Office for formal charges.

Police have also released the name of the three officers involved in the second shooting that resulted in the death of 19-year-old Romell Hill. Hill exchanged fire with the officers, who had responded to the apartment complex early Tuesday when a witness reported that suspects involved in the first shooting had returned.
Officer Adam Bailey was shot in the leg and is still being treated at Regions Hospital. He's expected to make a full recovery. The other officers were Thomas Weinzettel and Stephen Bobrowski.
The officers, who all joined the St. Paul Police Department in 2005, were on paid administrative leave, which is standard procedure after such incidents.
Police said additional arrests are possible as they continue investigating.
