Police say a toddler has been shot and injured in Minneapolis.

KMSP reports the mother was carrying the 19-month-old girl off a Metro Transit bus late Saturday morning when the girl was struck in the hip.

Police say the child has non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are reviewing security footage from the bus. They believe the shot came from a park across the street from the bus stop.
