News Cut blogger Bob Collins has been exploring a few stories from the world of sports. Over the weekend, Bob was in New Orleans where the Minnesota Vikings lost to the New Orleans Saints for the right to go to the Super Bowl.

Before that he went to Wrenshall, Minn., to meet the high school girls basketball team, which has been losing in a big way this season.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Collins about those and other topics in the news.
