Authorities are investigating whether a 911 call about a suicidal woman in suburban Minneapolis was actually an attempt to hide a homicide.
Brooklyn Center Police said officers arrested a 23-year-old man Sunday in the death of the 19-year-old woman whose body was found near a creek. The Hennepin County prosecutor's office could file charges Monday.
Police say someone called 911 around 3:30 a.m. to report that the woman was suicidal. Police say that when officers arrived at the home where the call came from, the suspect took them to a bridge over a small creek. That's where police say they found the body.
Police say there were signs of a struggle and trauma to the woman's body.
