The legal woes of former Former Twin Cities auto mega-dealer Denny Hecker continue to mount.
Two lawyers representing Hecker in his divorce from his fourth wife have quit.
Hecker, who filed for bankruptcy last June, said he's broke and can't afford lawyers.
Hecker had a Tuesday deadline to file an accounting of his finances to the divorce court, but it's not clear his submission is as detailed as the judge required.
Next Tuesday, Hecker faces a court hearing on that matter, along with his failure to stay current on alimony payments to his second and fourth wives.
Hennepin County judge Jay Quam has threatened to put Hecker in jail unless he documents his claims of poverty and makes his alimony payments.
Meanwhile, Hecker also faces 25 federal fraud charges related to his bankruptcy and financing of vehicles.
