A Minnesota man has reached a plea deal with federal prosecutors in a case linked with the investigation of missing Somali men from the Minneapolis area.

Judge James Rosenbaum has scheduled a change of plea hearing for Tuesday for Abdow M. Abdow of Chanhassen.

Abdow's defense attorney, Earl Gray, said Monday that Abdow has agreed to plead guilty to lying to the FBI, and prosecutors have agreed not to seek any terrorism-related enhancements to his sentence.

Gray says the guidelines sentence would be 10 to 16 months, but he will argue for less.

Abdow, who's of Somali descent, was charged last October with lying to the FBI after the Nevada Highway Patrol stopped a car in which he was riding near Las Vegas. The driver was on a terror watch list.
