Fort Hood shooting victim arrives in Minn.

A soldier who was among the most critically wounded in the Fort Hood shootings has arrived in Minnesota for treatment at Mayo Clinic.

Twenty-nine-year-old Army Staff Sgt. Patrick Zeigler arrived at Rochester International Airport on Wednesday and was admitted to Saint Marys Hospital.

Zeigler was among 32 people wounded in a shooting rampage at Fort Hood last November. Another 13 were killed.

Zeigler's fiancee, Jessica Hansen, is from Rochester. Hansen hopes specialists can help Zeigler recover from injuries he suffered when he was shot four times, including once in the head.

Hansen says she hopes doctors at Mayo can give him "something above and beyond."

Members of the Rochester unit of the Minnesota Patriot Guard were among those welcoming Zeigler at the airport.
