Minneapolis police are investigating the shooting death of a man who was found lying on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound to the neck early Wednesday.
Police responded to a shooting at 1 a.m. in the 2100 block of Park Avenue South, which is near the intersection of Park and Franklin Avenue in Minneapolis' Phillips neighborhood.
No one has been arrested in the shooting, and police don't know what events led up to the incident.
The Minneapolis Police Department and Hennepin County Medical Examiner are investigating.
The victim's name was not immediately released.
