Gov. Tim Pawlenty has ordered that all Minnesota and U.S. flags be lowered to half staff on Tuesday in honor of a fallen Marine from Minnesota.
He's Master Sgt. Daniel Fedder, who was killed by a roadside bomb Aug 27. Fedder, 34, was a highly decorated Marine bomb disposal technician. The 16-year corps veteran was previously deployed to Iraq in 2004 and 2006.
The funeral be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Pine City National Guard Armory. It's open to the public. Pawlenty plans to attend.
Fedder will be buried in Pine City.
