The three major party candidates for governor in Minnesota --Republican Tom Emmer, Democrat Mark Dayton, and Independence Party candidate Tom Horner-- gathered in Minneapolis for their 11th debate of the campaign season. The candidates dialed up the criticism of each others' plans for tackling a looming state budget crisis.
