The U may have given the all-clear for the Bell Museum to screen Troubled Waters: A Mississippi River Story on Oct. 3, but things are still up in the air over when Twin Cities Public Television will air the film.
Spokesman Stephen Usery said it still needs an official OK from the U to air the documentary, as well as a copy of the film and an idea of when the University wants it to air. He said he's hoping to hear later today.
Troubled Waters director Larkin McPhee said yesterday she was hoping to get back the film's original prime time slot on Oct. 5.
Usury said that's "not out of the question," but that the station "would need to have everything in the next few days, say early next week."
The station originally had two showings planned.
