The Minnesota Twins are heading into the playoffs, and the team has announced the starting times for the opening of the America League Division Series games against the New York Yankees.
The Twins are closing their inaugural season at Target Field with a run for the World Series. They'll start their playoff bid on Wednesday; with a first pitch at 7:37 p.m. Francisco Liriano will start the playoffs on the mound for the Twins.
They'll play a second game at Target Field on Thursday, with a first pitch at 5:07. The series moves to New York and Yankee Stadium on Saturday, with another 7:37 Central Time start.
The division series is a best-of-five playoff round. The Twins and Yankees will play a fourth game in New York on Sunday and a final game on October 12 at Target Field if necessary.
