State officials on Thursday announced they will open three disaster recovery centers for people affected by the flooding last month in southern Minnesota.
The centers will provide information about uninsured losses from the floods and whether victims might be eligible for aid from the state or federal government.
Information about housing, unemployment, farm advocacy and other issues will also be available at the centers.
The centers are located at the Steele County Community Center-Fairgrounds in Owatonna, the Truman Public Schools gymnasium in Truman and the Mazeppa Community Center in Mazeppa.
The disaster centers will open Friday at 1 p.m. and will be open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
