This last question, which regent Dean Johnson said he submitted:

Could you share your vision of what the U of M will look like in five years, and what changes are needed?

I want this institution to be perceived as a premier institution in the U.S.

I am going to focus on the undergraduate experience.

I want to help the athletic programs become more visible and successful – not just in wins and losses but also in academic successes, such as raising athletic GPAs.

I hope to be here for 10 or more years.
