The 27-year-old daughter of former Minnesota Attorney General Mike Hatch was found dead over the weekend in her Chicago condominium, an apparent suicide, according to a report from a Chicago radio station.
WBBM-AM reports that Anne Hatch was pronounced dead Sunday. The Cook County medical examiner's office confirmed Hatch's death was a suicide, according to the station.
Police say Hatch was found in her apartment on Chicago's Miracle Mile by a building employee.
The Hatch family released a statement Monday, saying their daughter Anne "died unexpectedly" in Chicago.

"This is a sad and painful time for our family. Nothing in life can prepare you for the loss of a child," the statement continued.
In 2004, Anne Hatch and her older sister, Elizabeth, were arrested following a confrontation with a police officer outside a Chicago nightclub.
The Hatch sisters said police officers used excessive force. The sisters were acquitted in June 2005 of battery, resisting arrest and criminal damage.
