Minnesota State University Moorhead President Edna Szymanski on moving the university's Corrick Center from Murray Commons near the residence halls to an as-yet-undetermined place on the general campus -- a move that some faculty apparently don't like:
“There was a stigma associated with the place before, where students who needed the service wouldn’t go, and they would go to other institutions because they didn’t want to be associated with it."
It's just one of the changes the center will have to undergo by next fall, the Forum of Fargo-Moorhead reports. A task force has identified concerns about the center's low graduation rates, and it wants some reforms.
