In a few weeks, major league baseball players will start reporting to spring training as they prepare for the upcoming season. For one new member of the Twins there will be a lot to get used to this spring. Tsuyoshi Nishioka is the first player the Twins have acquired from the Japanese professional baseball league.
MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with Mike Pomeranz of KARE-11 TV. He recently visited Japan, and is producing a series of stories about Nishioka and Japanese baseball. The first one airs Friday night. Part two airs Monday night.
