In Wisconsin, a recount is likely in a the first election since Republican Governor Scott Walker passed his politically contentious budget bill.
The Associated Press reports that Assistant Attorney General JoAnne Kloppenburg currently has a narrow 204-vote lead over incumbent Justice David Prosser in a race for a seat on the state Supreme Court. Their race became highly politicized after the state's standoff over collective bargaining rights.
