Replacement workers at American Crystal Sugar face a big test tomorrow because the sugarbeet harvest is now underway. Tomorrow, the company starts its five factories in the Red River Valley with replacement workers because 1,300 union workers are still locked out.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer talked with Minnesota Public Radio News reporter Dan Gunderson about that and other news in northwestern Minnesota. He spoke from our bureau in Moorhead.
