The WNBA team heads to the playoffs next week with the best record in the league.
Sports writer Pat Borzi said the Lynx's stellar performance this year is winning the team new fans.
"One thing that I've learned about this town from living here for almost ten years is that they'll support a winner," Borzi said. "This team is winning and suddenly you've got more people who are realizing it and coming out and that is why you are getting crowds of 8,000 and 9,000 and 10,000."
The Minnesota Lynx head to the playoffs next week with the best record in the WNBA. This is the Lynx' first trip to the playoffs since 2004.
"This is a skilled roster." Borzi said. "You've got five people on this roster who are members of the U.S. national basketball team.
"They have a ton of talent, the coach has got them rebounding and playing defense and they are playing very well together, they are playing very unselfishly."
