University of Minnesota head football coach Jerry Kill is in a Twin Cities hospital. Kill was rushed to the hospital after suffering a seizure near the end of Saturday's game against New Mexico State at TCF Bank stadium.
His assistant coaches knew exactly what to do when it happened because many of them had been through it before. Coach Kill experienced similar seizures during games in 2001 and 2005.
Phil Miller, who covers the Gophers for the Star Tribune, talked about Kill's situation with Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer.
