-- Harry Cottrell, dean of students at Northwest Technical College, on how students took advantage of waived application fees during last month's Minnesota College Application Week, and yet didn't use the waiver as a cheap way to mass-mail applications to MnSCU colleges.
Northwest Technical saw three times the number of applications it did the same week last year, and Bemidji State saw more than a six-fold increase.
