On tomorrow's show, we're talking about a new documentary titled "Alive Inside" about the use of music with Alzheimer's patients to help with memory loss and brain function. While prepping the page on our website for the in-depth interview, I remembered the ABC News piece on Arizona's Rep. Gabrielle Gifford's therapy as she recovers from a gunshot to her head in January 2011.
During her recovery, Giffords has been using a lot of music therapy. It was amazing to watch the videos of her struggling to speak words or sentences, but breeze through songs.
