Seven Minnesota community health centers will share in more than $15 million under new grants provided under the federal health care overhaul.
The grants are part of a $1.5 billion initiative to renovate and expand community health centers nationwide to serve increasing numbers of patients.
The Minnesota sites receiving the grants include health centers in Mankato, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Cook and Duluth.
The Obama Administration says the funding is "in the pipeline" to these health centers. But White House officials said they wouldn't speculate about what happens to the funding if the Supreme Court overturns the federal health care law. A decision from the High Court is expected in June.
