My sister often gives me book recommendations but it is rare for her to call a book "revelatory" or insist that I go buy it.
She called me two weeks ago and said that the next book I had to read was "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking." I knew the title; it had come through our office and I wrote it off as another book that would tell me that since I am an introvert, I need time to "recharge."
It's a lot more helpful than that, well-researched and doesn't spend a lot of time bashing the extroverts for being too loud. My sister may be right about it being revelatory.
