Author Adam Johnson joins The Daily Circuit to discuss his acclaimed novel "The Orphan Master's Son," which recently won the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for fiction.
The book tells the story of Pak Jun Do, a young man who grew up in North Korea in the orphanage his father ran.
Jun Do's story moves from the tunnels under the DMZ to the shores off Japan to North Korea's mysterious capital, Pyongyang. His story eventually weaves with that of Sun Moon, a legendary actress who Jun Do comes to love to the point of trying to save her.
