One of the policy areas that featured prominently in President Obama's second inaugural address was the impact of climate change. In his remarks Monday, Obama said failure to respond to the threat of climate change would "betray our children and future generations."
Climate change is also the focus of a series of joint hearings this month at the Minnesota legislature. Today, a group of experts will testify about the impact on groundwater.
DFL Rep. Jean Wagenius is the chair of the House Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture Finance Committee and she joins MPR's Cathy Wurzer to talk about the issue.
