State finance officials are set to release a new economic forecast this week that will guide the tax and spending debate for the rest of the legislative session. The projections could also force DFL Gov. Mark Dayton to revise the two-year budget proposal he announced a month ago.
In addition, the effort to raise Minnesota's minimum wage will pick up this week, and we could finally see a bill to legalize same-sex marriage.
Cathy Wurzer spoke with Tim Pugmire, one of MPR News' Capitol reporters, about the week ahead for state lawmakers.
