A western Minnesota man is facing felony drug charges after authorities say they found 32 pounds of marijuana worth an estimated quarter-million dollars in his home.
Moorhead police Lt. Tory Jacobson says a 33-year-old man was arrested in Dilworth Tuesday after officers from several agencies -- including the Department of Homeland Security executed a search warrant.
Jacobson said the pot is medical grade from California.
"Two-hundred fifty-thousand dollars alone in marijuana value alone is very significant," Jacobson said. "Certainly the largest marijuana seizure we've had here in our area with these narcotics investigators."
Officers also confiscated small amounts of psychedelic mushrooms and an illegally-owned AK-47 rifle, 15 jars of hash oil or powder, more than $25,000 in cash and a 2001 Chrysler automobile, he said.
The suspect is being held in the Clay County Jail.
