It will be a quiet week at the State Capitol, as the legislature takes its traditional Easter/Passover break.
But many lawmakers will stay busy back in their home districts, either defending or criticizing the tax and spending proposals that have recently emerged. DFL Gov. Mark Dayton is also taking to the road this week to discuss his latest budget plan.
MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Minnesota Public Radio Capitol reporter Tim Pugmire about all of that on Morning Edition.
