Study will shed light on dispute over U's administrative costs

After administrative costs at the University of Minnesota came under criticism last winter, the Legislature ordered a study to determine how those costs compared with those at other institutions. The results of that study will be released this afternoon. The university's Board of Regents will discuss the so-called benchmark analysis at its regular meeting this week.

Alex Friedrich, MPR's higher education reporter, looks ahead to the report's release and to the regents' Friday vote on a new budget.
