As of this morning, 45,000 Xcel Energy customers were still without power in Minnesota following the weekend's storms. It was a fraction of the 600,000 homes and businesses that had gone dark in what was being described as the area's most widespread power outage ever.

MPR News reporter Tim Nelson joins us to discuss the storm and its aftermath.
