Gov. Mark Dayton is up for re-election in November 2014. And there's no shortage of candidates competing to run against him on the GOP side of the aisle.
Already, four Republicans have formally announced that they're running for governor. The most recent to jump into the race is state Sen. Dave Thompson of Lakeville, who formally announced his candidacy yesterday.
