It was a busy day for sports in Minneapolis yesterday. At Target Field, the Twins fell to Kansas City 3-1. The Vikings pulled off a 24-23 win over Tennessee in their last pre-season game at the Metrodome. Meanwhile, at TCF Bank Stadium, the University of Minnesota Gopher Football team started their season with a convincing win over U.N.L.V. The score was 51-23. MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Howard Sinker, digital sports editor at the Star Tribune.
