Barry won the IMPAC Dublin Prize, which comes with the largest cash award of any literary award in the world. Published in the U.S. by Minneapolis-based Graywolf press, Barry will read from his novel and his new collection of short stories "Dark Lies the Island" starting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Micawber's Books in St. Paul.
