Eden Prairie Police say they're received confirmation from the Ramsey County Medical Examiner that human remains found Saturday are those of Mandy Matula.
Police say the remains were found in a shallow grave by a hiker in Stearns County's Mississippi River Park.
Matula has been missing since May 1. The 24-year-old Eden Prairie woman was last seen leaving her home with a former boyfriend. David Roe shot and killed himself nearly six months ago as police were about to question him about Matula's disappearance.
Eden Prairie police, the Stearns County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension are all working on the case.
