A pair of major road reconstruction projects in Arden Hills will open fully tonight.
The new interchange at Ramsey County Road 96 and Highway 10 in Arden Hills will reopen overnight. The Minnesota Department of Transportation turned the intersection into an overpass, with County Road 96 running under the busy U.S. Highway. The roads have been closed while the reconstruction has been underway.
They've got a lot of things winding down," said MnDOT spokeswoman Kristen Klein. "Crews are going to open the roadways following this evening's rush hour. But they're planning on having those lanes, between Highway 10 and County Road 96, that interchange and those ramps, by midnight tonight."
The Highway 10 diagonal between Interstates 35W and 694 is also scheduled to open tonight. That will also include ramps from Lexington Avenue to the interstate and northbound access to Highway 10 from Snelling and Hamline avenues.
They're all part of a project to rebuild the Interstate 694 corridor between I-35E and I-35W.
